CLASS DESCRIPTION
DANCE / COMPOSITION
Children learn creative ways to move their body while exploring elements of professional dance techniques. A special focus on basic composition and individuality, leading to a small creation. Our classes promote positive self-image and are for all ages and body types. This class is hard work, but lots of fun.
ART / CRAFTING
Our young artists are given a guided experience through multiple “colors” of Art. From painting to crafting, the children are encouraged to create every day and mentored through different styles and basic techniques. This program will also introduce elements of fashion and sustainable art, and we hope to cover our walls with daily "exhibitions."
MUSIC EXPLORATION
During the music hour, the children will sing, say, dance and play as they create music together. They will use their voices, bodies, props, and objects from the world around them to create and engage with the world of sound.

All camps will take place at the Braswell Arts Center located at Aeschenvorstadt 52 in Basel.
Please note, insurance is the responsibility of the participants.

The BAC is proud to support members of the KulturLegi Beider Basel as well those who receive Prämienverbilligung (levels 1-15) or Sozialhilfe by offering discounts on our memberships. Children receive a 50% discount and adults receive 20%.
HEALTH INSURANCE REIMBURSEMENT
Due to our membership with the Tanzvereinigung Schweiz, some health insurance companies (SWICA and Sympany,for example) offer to reimburse some of the cost of our membership fees for both children and adults--up to CHF 600 per year! This depends on your health insurance company and the specific plan you have with them. Please inquire directly with your health insurance provider to ask if they offer this type of benefit.
